This checklist covers all scavenger hunt quests organized by Witcher School gear type (Viper, Griffin, Cat, Bear, Wolf), from the early gear hunts in White Orchard through late-game. Witcher School Gear Sets
Scavenger Hunts allow you to find diagrams for six Witcher school gear sets: Griffin (Sign intensity), Cat (Fast attack damage), Bear (Strong attack damage), Wolf (balanced), Manticore (Alchemy bonus, Blood and Wine DLC), and Viper (Hearts of Stone DLC). Each set has multiple upgrade tiers from basic to grandmaster.
Each gear set includes armor pieces (chest, boots, gauntlets, trousers) and weapons (steel and silver swords). The gear can be crafted by blacksmiths and armorers once you find the diagrams through scavenger hunt quests.
Upgrade Tiers and Progression
Witcher gear has five upgrade tiers: basic, enhanced, superior, mastercrafted, and grandmaster. Each tier requires completing a separate scavenger hunt to find the upgrade diagrams. Grandmaster upgrades are only available in the Blood and Wine expansion and provide set bonuses when wearing multiple pieces.

All Scavenger Hunts in DLC
