Blood and Wine DLC Overview
The checklist is located below this overview.
Interactive checklist for Blood and Wine DLC, the second expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Get 100% Completion in the new region of Toussaint, with its central city Beauclair.
Blood and Wine DLC is a massive expansion. You can start it by investigating any Notice Board after saving Dandelion in Novigrad during the base-game main story. This will lead you to Stonecutters' Settlement, where you can set off for Toussaint.
Key Completionist Content
The DLC comes with a large array of side quests, treasure hunts, contracts and a large new map to explore with almost 50 new Signposts.
Blood and Wine features two main endings (Syanna or Orianna), each comes with its own route and array of quests exclusive for that ending. Two playthroughs are recommended to fully explore both paths.
The DLC also introduces a few larger umbrella side quests - Wine Wars and Big Feet to Fill, which all cater to one larger optional story. A new type of Witcher Contracts - Vintner Contracts - are also present. The DLC has no horse races, but there are fistfighting and Scavenger Hunts for Grandmaster Witcher Gear instead.
Geralt also gains a new home, the Corvo Bianco Vineyard, which you can later upgrade and furnish.

Blood and Wine FAQ
How long is the Blood and Wine main story?
The main quest line on this checklist has sixteen entries, including optional branches such as Blood Simple (Orianna’s path) after The Night of Long Fangs. Expect branching outcomes at Tesham Mutna and in the closing ceremony.
What is missable in Blood and Wine?
Several side entries are Missable! because they only appear between specific main quests or on one route through the Land of a Thousand Fables. The table calls these out in the description column.
How do I get Aerondight?
There Can Only Be One tracks five virtues; see that row for the compact virtue checklist that pairs with The Warble of a Smitten Knight and other main beats, then draws the sword from Lac Celavy.
What level should I start?
Recommended levels on this page run from about 34 to 49. The expansion begins from the notice at Stonecutters’ Settlement in Velen.
