Welcome to the definitive The Witcher 3 Progress Tracker. Track everything that counts for full completion: quests, signposts, Gwent, alchemy, and more.
This Progress Tracker also includes the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine DLCs, plus all Gwent cards—both the main collection and the DLC-exclusive cards.
Quests, Signposts, Gwent Cards, Potions, Decoctions, Oils, Bombs, and map objectives each have dedicated checklists. Open the The Witcher 3 Checklist Hub to browse by category, or jump into a group below.
Built by completionists who verify data by hand. Now it is your turn to clear the map.
Technically one to see everything with save-resetting, but many quests (and especially DLCs) are very complex and branch out in ways that can alter the game for hours to come.
At least two runs are recommended for a full, unburdened experience.
120 hours, possibly more depending on your tempo. The DLCs are 10 and 20 hours and if you are visiting every question mark, that is at least another 15 hours.
6/10 mainly due to the massive size, replayability and some truly tedious achievement requirements. The game is not very hard even on Death March difficulty.
The game has several cut-off points for many optional quests.
The first best time to collect everything possible is when you obtain the Isle of the Mists quest, before embarking to find Ciri. You do not need to collect everything; most high level quests will stay available. Only do quests of your level or below.
The second good time to free roam is around Ugly Baby quest, when you come back to Velen from Kaer Morhen. The last cut-off point is after completing the Final Preparations quest in Novigrad.
We recommend completing DLCs after the base game, first Hearts of Stone, then Blood and Wine.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk 2077 and other massive complex open-worlds.
Is this free?
Yes. Create a free account to track progress and use the hub and trackers.
How does tracking my progress and my profile work?
When you log in, your checked items are stored in your account. Your Profile page shows progress per game, links to each game's Ultimate Progress Tracker, and account settings. You can use checklists on any device while signed in and see the same progress.
How do I create an account?
Use the Login option in the site header, or follow prompts from any checklist. Creating an account is email-based and takes a minute.
What is the biggest benefit?
One place to see your completion across every Witcher 3 checklist we list, with accurate hand-built data instead of scattered wikis and spreadsheets.
Who made this?
Game Checklists is built by completionists and achievement hunters who catalogue items manually and maintain trackers and hubs for multiple games.
Do you support other games?
Yes. We have Ultimate Progress Trackers for six games: Expedition 33, Silksong, The Witcher 3 (this page), Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Hades 2, and Nine Sols.
Can I delete my progress and start over?
Yes, but that is handled from your account and profile flows rather than this tracker page. Read the help on your Profile and settings for how to manage saved progress.
What kind of data does the progress tracking functionality collect?
This page only displays your progress. The checklists you use send database keys for checked items plus a timestamp. That is tied to your user ID and account email. Sign-in and storage use a cloud database.
Does this support DLC?
Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, and DLC Gwent cards are included in this tracker alongside the base game. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC coverage is planned. Expedition 33 DLC is included. Silksong: Sea of Sorrow at launch. Hades 2 and Nine Sols: no DLC exists yet.
What do I get for 100%?
Eternal respect from our achievement hunting team, and soon a spot on the completionist leaderboard we are building.
