All trophies are possible to obtain on a single playthrough except the 3 Endings. Defeating the final boss of Bloodborne will throw you directly into New Game Plus, which means you need to run through 3 full playthroughs to get platinum / trophies / all achievements.

How to collect all Trophies in Bloodborne

Bloodborne's Trophies cover story progression, optional bosses, Chalice Dungeons, weapons, Hunter Tools, Caryll Runes, and several hidden areas. Most Trophies are earned naturally by completing the game, while others require thorough exploration or collecting specific items.

The Bloodborne Platinum Trophy requires earning every other Trophy in the base game. Several Trophies are tied to the game's three different endings, meaning you normally need multiple playthroughs to unlock them all unless you use a backup save before the final choice.

Missable Trophies

The three ending Trophies are exclusive during a single playthrough, as you can only get one depending on your choices.

The Completion-related trophies can also be missed if you finish the game without obtaining all Hunter Weapons, as several weapons depend on NPC questlines, optional areas, or specific story progression. If you're aiming for the Platinum Trophy, keep track of your weapons and make sure to complete optional content before entering the final part of the game.

About Trophies in Bloodborne

Bloodborne's Trophy list encourages players to explore almost every part of the game. In addition to defeating the major story bosses, the Platinum requires discovering optional locations such as Cainhurst Castle and the Upper Cathedral Ward, completing the fixed Chalice Dungeon progression to reach Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen, and collecting every Hunter Weapon and special Hunter Tool.

		Hunter's Craft Nearest Lamp: Hunter's Dream Trophy	Acquire all base-game Hunter Tools. Use the Hunter Tools Checklist and get all of them. The only one not required is the Madaras Whistle.

		Nightmare Lecture Building Nearest Lamp: Lecture Building Trophy	Arrive at Lecture Hall, either by Tonsil Stone + lesser Amygdala, or by finishing Yahar'Gul, the Unseen Village. Location of Nightmare Lecture Building:
		Cainhurst Nearest Lamp: Forsaken Castle Cainhurst Trophy	Set off for Cainhurst Castle. Acquire Cainhurst Summons from Iosefka's Clinic, then go to the massive gravestone in Hemwick Charnel Lane. Location of Cainhurst:
		The Choir Nearest Lamp: Upper Cathedral Ward Trophy	Arrive at Upper Cathedral Ward. You need a key: From the Yahar'Gul Chapel lamp, head back upstairs under the laser lesser Amygdala. How many trophies are on this checklist?

This checklist tracks 34 Bloodborne trophies / achievements across endings, completion, progression, Chalice Dungeons, and boss kills.

Can I get platinum in one playthrough?

No. All trophies are possible on a single playthrough except the three ending trophies. Beating the final boss sends you into New Game Plus, so you need three full playthroughs for all ending trophies.

Which trophies need other checklists?

Hunter's Essence uses the Right Hand Weapons Checklist and Left Hand Weapons Checklist. Hunter's Craft uses the Hunter Tools Checklist (Madaras Whistle is not required). Ending trophies use the All Endings Checklist.

Obtain a valuable Blood Gem with at least rating 15. Higher Depth Chalices drop better rarity. Search around Depths 4 and 5.
