How to collect all Right Hand Weapons in Bloodborne
Right-hand weapons are obtained in a variety of ways throughout Bloodborne. The vast majority of Right Hand Weapons are sold by Messenger Shop in Hunter's Dream, but only becomes available after progressing the main story or collecting Badges, which open extra shop options.
Several Weapons are also hidden across the world, in chests or lying on the ground. One Right Hand Weapon (
Beast Claw) is exclusive to Chalice Dungeons and is a boss drop from
Ailing Loran Chalice.
Missable Right Hand Weapons
All Right Hand Weapons in Bloodborne can be obtained at any time and none are missable.
About Right Hand Weapons in Bloodborne
Right-hand weapons are the foundation of Bloodborne's combat system. Nearly every melee weapon is a Trick Weapon, capable of transforming between two distinct forms with different movesets, range, and attack speed. Mastering these transformations is a key part of Bloodborne's fast-paced combat.
Compared to later FromSoftware games, Bloodborne features a relatively small selection of melee weapons. However, each Trick Weapon offers a unique playstyle, making weapon choice far more meaningful than simply choosing one with higher damage.
Best Right Hand Weapon in Bloodborne
While opinions may vary, we consider
Saw Spear to be the best weapon in Bloodborne. While its damage can be beaten in the late game, it can be found during the first run through
Central Yharnam, before you fight the first boss. Its attack speed (in short version) is one of the fastest in Bloodborne, allowing you to chain stun locks on enemies and also many Bosses. We strongly recommend
Saw Spear for any beginner playthrough as the best option.
