This checklist contains every Left Hand Weapon obtainable in Bloodborne. Left Hand Weapons include Firearms (Pistols), Flame Sprayers, Torches, Shields, and other utility weapons designed to complement your primary Trick Weapon, allow for range damage and parries.

How to collect all Left Hand Weapons in Bloodborne

Left Hand Weapons are obtained in several different ways throughout Bloodborne. Most are sold by the Bath Messengers in Hunter's Dream after obtaining Hunter Badges or progressing the main story. Others are found while exploring.

Unlike Right Hand Weapons, Left Hand Weapons are generally fewer in number and most become available naturally as you progress through the game.

Missable Left Hand Weapons

Most Left Hand Weapons can be obtained at any time and are not missable. However, a small number depend on optional NPC questlines or obtaining specific Hunter Badges before the end of the game. Exploring optional areas and completing NPC questlines is recommended if you're aiming for a complete collection.

About Left Hand Weapons in Bloodborne

Left Hand Weapons serve a supporting role in Bloodborne's combat. Firearms are primarily used for parrying enemies and performing Visceral Attacks rather than dealing direct damage.

Torches illuminate dark areas and can be effective against enemies weak to fire.

Shields exist in Bloodborne but intentionally play only a minor role, reflecting the game's emphasis on aggressive combat over defensive play.

Best Left Hand Weapon in Bloodborne

The starter Hunter Pistol is the best all-around Left Hand Weapon for most players. It becomes available very early in the game, fires quickly, has excellent timing for parries, and remains effective throughout the entire playthrough.

While other firearms may deal higher damage or offer unique properties, the Hunter Pistol is the most reliable choice for learning Bloodborne's combat and consistently landing Visceral Attacks. We recommend keeping it for the beginner playthrough.

		Hunter's Torch Nearest Lamp: Old Yharnam Left Hand Weapon	From the lamp, go right and drop down onto the roof and head to the left. It is in the corner of a balcony with two Female Beast Patients. Location of Hunter's Torch:
		Cannon Nearest Lamp: Forbidden Woods Left Hand Weapon	Follow the main path until you reach the central house with several staircases and a transforming Snake Parasite enemy. From the top floor, one of the exits leads to the rooftops. Drop down from there and then spot a ladder on your left, use it. Move to the central cogwheel, then to the right and drop down onto a ledge below with the item. Location of Cannon:
