Wishes necessary to reach Act 3 in Silksong
To reach Act 3, you need to complete the Silk and Soul Wish, which only appears after many requirements have been met.
- Get Faydown Cloak (the Double Jump ability) from Mount Fay
- Make sure to complete the vast majority of all Wishes available
- All Donate Wishes are necessary for Act 3
- Unlocking your own Bellhome is necessary for Act 3 (Bellhome guide - Read how to easily unlock your own Bellhome in Silksong)
- Shakra's Wish is also a prerequisite for Act 3
- Defeat Grand Mother Silk normally with all 3 Memories
- Make sure to transport the Lost Fleas to Putrified Ducts and visit them in Fleatopia
Make sure to complete the vast majority of all Wishes available. Every Wish awards either 0.5 or 1 invisible "point" towards Silk and Soul Wish appearing. You need a total of 17 points and complete the requirements listed above.
If you completed all requirements listed, complete more Wishes until Silk and Soul appears.
Silk and Soul is not appearing
Common troubleshooting solutions for Silk and Soul quest not appearing:
- Leave the Songclave Area or Bellhart Area where the wish can appear. Travel to Grand Bellway with Ventrica Station and then to another Bellway, bench there. Reload the game far away from Songclave and Bellhart to force reset of the area and then travel back.
- Do you have the Bellhome Key and Bellhome accessible? If not, read our guide for easy access. If Pavo is not giving you the key, make sure all Bellhart Donate Wishes are completed and exhaust his dialogue by repeatedly reloading the area.
- Did you complete Wish: Trail's End from Shakra? You need to get every map first for this Wish to spawn. Use our All Maps Checklist to verify.
- Make sure you can double jump and have defeated Grand Mother Silk at least once on this particular save.
- Visit Fleatopia and talk to Fleamaster Mooshka to see if any stuck dialogue is preventing the progress.
Getting to Act 3 in Hollow Knight: Silksong should be consistent and bug-free, once all the criteria are met.
