Collecting all 20 Memory Lockets in Hollow Knight: Silksong allows the player to upgrade Crests, unlock Tool slots and, ultimately, bind Eva. They are hidden around Pharloom and out of all item categories, they are perhaps the most hidden item type.

Memory Lockets are difficult to find, often behind breakable walls or in precarious sequences.

Easiest Memory Lockets to Get Early

At the start of the game, we recommend looking up the easiest Memory Lockets to get:

• Memory Locket #2 - In The Marrow near Bellway Station, north edge near a flea
• Memory Locket #3 - At the end of Hunter's March, before Chapel of the Beast
• Memory Locket #5 - Sold in Pilgrim's Rest for 150 Rosaries
• Memory Locket #7 - Dark area with aggressive Mites near Greymoor Bellway
• Memory Locket #8 - Sold in Bellhart for 330 Rosaries
• Memory Locket #10 - Hidden in a Sandcarver pit before Last Judge in Blasted Steps

Completion Requirements

There are 20 Memory Lockets in the game and 20 unlockable slots in the Crests. However, to reach the final stage with Eva to get the Entwined achievement, you only need to find and use 12, 13, 14 or 15 Memory Lockets, depending on your actions.

This is because progression with Memory Lockets is not counted with used Memory Lockets, but instead with the number of total Tool slots on your Crests, which depends on what Crests you upgrade.

How to Bind Eva and Get Sylphsong

Eva resides in Weavenest Atla - just right from the bench.

As your number of available Tool slots grows, Eva offers rewards. The final one is required for 100% Completion and also yields the Entwined achievement. Numbers listed below are total for all available Tool slots, not just those you've unlocked spending Memory Lockets.

Sylphsong

Sylphsong is a helpful permanent ability providing infinite Silk regeneration while sitting on Benches in a few seconds.

Getting Sylphsong as soon as you can is very helpful, especially for Steel Soul runs necessary for 100% Completion. Reference our How to Get All Achievements guide for more information on Steel Soul runs.

Priority: This should be a priority in ACT 3 as early as possible, allowing you to open a boss fight or arena gauntlet with a ready reserve heal or a few Silk Skill uses.
