How to use Tao Fruits
Tao Fruits function as permanent character upgrades rather than consumables you store for later. Once obtained, they are absorbed immediately, granting Skill Points and boosting the base damage of key combat abilities.
Tao Fruits do not increase your level or XP. Instead, they award a fixed number of Skill Points depending on the variant: 1 for a normal Tao Fruit, 2 for a Greater Tao Fruit, 4 for the single Twin Tao Fruit.
Beyond Skill Points, each Tao Fruit increases the base damage of Triple Slash, Charged Strike, and Talisman attacks by 3% of their un-upgraded value. Because the bonus scales from base damage, it remains valuable throughout the entire game. Collecting all variants steadily strengthens both melee and talisman-focused playstyles, making them the most essential pick-up.
