This boss is encountered in the Empyrean District (Passages). Note that you can get a missable "Robo Fight!" achievement here - find a mech in the right end of the long room and defeat Tianshou in a mech fight. Drops a Dark Steel.

How Bosses and Minibosses work
Bosses represent the most significant combat challenges. Sol bosses can be refought later through Battle Memories after completing the game, allowing you to revisit major duels and refine your performance. This makes them ideal for testing optimized builds or pushing for cleaner executions.
Minibosses, while less central, still pose a serious threat. They feature greatly increased health and dangerous attack patterns, often including red crimson attacks. Most are optional and consist of a single phase. Overcoming them is worthwhile, as they frequently reward upgrade materials, Jades, or unique key items tied to quests and equipment progression.
