All 35 Achievements in Nine Sols

Several achievements are missable. The game has two story endings, each with its own achievement. Going for the True Ending achievement will naturally unlock most of the achievements tied to completion and progression.

How to get all achievements in Nine Sols: Follow this checklist in its order. Complete missable achievements one by one when the story sends you to a zone with missable goals. Everything else is tied to exploration, story, or completion.

		Fight Through Hardship Location: Tiandao Research Institute Achievement	Finish Nine Sols on Standard Mode. How to obtain the Fight Through Hardship achievement in Nine Sols: Start on Standard Mode. Do not switch to Story Mode at any point or you will not be able to unlock this achievement.
		Repurposed Location: Four Seasons Pavilion Achievement	Use the Fortune Teller crafted by Shuanshuan. Throughout your whole playthrough, you will have to pay for your maps and take them peacefully, except for one robot that attacks you. Collect all map data chips without forcefully removing them and give them to the map robot at the Pavilion. Even if you complete all map chips, the achievement does not unlock automatically: give Shuanshuan all gifts you can.
		You Bastard... Location: Any zone Achievement	Obtain map data from Shanhai 9000 by force. Destroy any map robot and take its chip by force to unlock the achievement. This is mutually exclusive with Repurposed unless you copy your save file.
		Fight Dirty Location: Factory Achievement	Use the Gene Eradicator to fight Jiequan. Before you fight Jiequan, find the Gene Eradicator item in the Factory. The Gene Eradicator is located in the Factory Production Area room, behind a door locked by two parry statues spread across the room. When you have the Gene Eradicator, go to Jiequan and insert it into his machine before the fight starts.
		What Have You Done?! Location: Four Seasons Pavilion Achievement	Break the clay pot made by Shuanshuan. You first need to get the Guifang Red Clay gift in Grotto of Scriptures East (bottom-right parts of the room). Give the clay to Shuanshuan and progress or rest. Later, Shuanshuan will make a large red pot that appears in the Pavilion near him. Break his pot to get the achievement.
		Robo Fight! Location: Empyrean District Achievement	Defeat Tianshou while driving a robot. This is obtained during the Great Miner: Tianshou miniboss fight in Empyrean District Passages. Find a mech at the right end of the long room and defeat Tianshou in the mech.
		Do Re Mi So La Location: Agriculture Zone Achievement	Unravel the mystery of the Daybreak Tower's Music Sheet. Ring the bells in the correct sequence in Daybreak Tower in Lake Yaochi Ruins. When first there, the Solarian will give you an Ancient Sheet Music gift you can give to Shuanshuan. He will later give you back a solution with the correct order.
		The Cavalry's Here Location: Peach Blossom Village Achievement	Rescue the people of the Peach Blossom Village. This is the first achievement related to Shennong. Progress his quest by bringing him 15 total poisons and helping him protect the survivors from Peach Blossom Village. After escaping from the Prison and giving Shennong enough poisons, he will ask you to help Peach Blossom Village and give you the Abandoned Mines Access Token. Go through the door in the Abandoned Mines and defeat the Red Tiger Elite: Lieguan miniboss.
		Gimme Gimme Location: Four Seasons Pavilion Achievement	Establish a deep relationship with Shuanshuan. Give Shuanshuan many gifts. Not every gift is needed, but a majority. Use our Gifts & Artifacts checklist to collect them all.
		Across Time and Space Location: Grotto of Scriptures Achievement	Bid farewell to Lear. In Grotto of Scriptures, complete three mural puzzles that are all behind doors visible on the map. Two are in Grotto of Scriptures East, one is in Grotto of Scriptures West. After completing the puzzles, locate Lear's Tomb in Grotto of Scriptures West, just left of the elevator, inspect it, then talk to Lear. This also rewards you with the Rhizomatic Bomb needed for the True Ending.
		Magical Bean Location: Four Seasons Pavilion Achievement	Help Shuanshuan unlock the true potential of agriculture. This is also the solution to the inaccessible chest in Four Seasons Pavilion. You first need to find the Unknown Seed gift for Shuanshuan. Later, find GM Fertilizer 1 and GM Fertilizer 2 to help the beanstalk grow.
		One Man Army Location: Any zone Achievement	Defeat every optional miniboss. Explore the map and eliminate all optional bosses. Use our All Bosses checklist to find every miniboss.
		Blessed Messages Location: Various Achievement	Discover the message board for blessings upon the Departure of New Kunlun's Voyage. Solve the bell puzzle in the Empyrean District Living Area room. There is a painting with dots, indicating the puzzle solution (2-5-4-1-2). Then enter the door and read the data entry.
		I'm Yi, I Have a Drinking Problem Location: Various Achievement	Drink all the wine brewed by Shennong. Give Shennong all 15 poisons. Use our All Poisons checklist to find them all.
		Passing on the Torch Location: Galactic Dock Achievement	Help Shennong become the leader of Peach Blossom Village. This is the second achievement related to Shennong. Progress his quest by bringing him 15 total poisons and helping him protect the survivors from Peach Blossom Village. After saving the village on Shennong's request, make sure you have given Shuanshuan the Fusang Amulet gift from Apeman Depths. Later, Shennong will again ask you to help the village. Kill the yellow snake and return to Shennong. Complete everything else in the game until Shennong leaves the Pavilion, then find him at Galactic Dock.
		The Warrior Within Location: Various Achievement	Master all skills in the skill tree. Unlock every available skill.
		Well Prepared Location: Various Achievement	Collect every Jade. Collect every Jade. Use our All Jades checklist to find them all.
		My Most Trusted Friend Location: Various Achievement	Max out the ammo capacity of the Azure Bow and obtain Cloud Piercer X, Thunder Buster X, and Shadow Hunter X. Get all three special arrow types by killing main story bosses, then buy all possible upgrades from Kuafu. You need all 6 Dark Steels for this. Use our Dark Steels checklist to find them.
		Stonks! Location: Four Seasons Pavilion Achievement	Recycle Shuanshuan's Coin. Bring the Tiandao Academy Periodical gift to Shuanshuan. Later, he will mention he has discovered a new blueprint: you can create a copper coin, which you can immediately recycle.
		Treasure Hunter Location: Various Achievement	Find all resources and information marked by Shanhai 9000. When you collect each map chip, you also get information about how many items need to be found for this achievement.
		Evolution Location: Various Achievement	Discover a tremendous secret. Go into a secret path in Tiandao Research Institute in a room below the Root Node, in the left wall. There is a Nymph wall puzzle and some data entries.
		Found You Location: Various Achievement	Help Shanhai 9000 find Chien. Collect all map chips and use them at the base robot. Later in the game, after Eigong steals your Sols, when returning back, fully explore the bottom level of the Tiandao Research Center to discover a room on the left. Kill the enemy after the dialogue and the achievement will pop.
		Rest for the Wicked Location: Various Achievement	Help Chiyou bring peace to Xingtian. You need to buy every item from Chiyou and also kill two bosses for the items he mentions. Then at the end of the game after encountering Eigong, go to the top left room in Tiandao Research Center to fight his brother, Xingtian (second encounter).

		Home Sweet Home Location: Various Story achievement	Return to the home world of Solarian. Normal Ending: defeat Eigong without meeting the requirements for the True Ending.
		Shooting Star Location: Various Story achievement	Witness the end of New Kunlun. True Ending: defeat Eigong while meeting all requirements for the True Ending. Nine Sols True Ending requirements: fully complete Shennong's questline. Give Shuanshuan enough gifts for the related achievements and broadly complete the game.
