This Lies of P All Stargazers Checklist is in optimal completion order. It is divided into multiple tables, divided in Chapters in which the Stargazers appear.

The chapters don't have official names in the game, we named them by their most important landmark.

Stargazers - Key Information:

Stargazers serve as checkpoints throughout Lies of P, similarly to Bonfires in Dark Souls series and Sites of Grace in Elden Ring. They are blue, Ergo-powered machines found throughout the world.

Almost every Stargazer is sitting on the main path, except the Hermit's Cave Stargazer situated in an optional area. Stargazers also appear in every Story Boss arena after defeating that chapter's boss.

All Stargazer functions:

• when you die, you will respawn at your latest visited Stargazer
• you can fast travel between different discovered Stargazers
• you can use Stargazers to Level Up, and later also Assemble Weapons, switch Legion Arms, switch Grindstones and switch Cube's Wishstones
• you can use Stargazers to manage your inventory and your Storage
• later in the game, Venigni will find a way to communicate with P through Stargazers

Using a Stargazer will:

• fully replenish P's Health, Pulse Cells, Legion Arm uses, Grindstone use but NOT refill Fable
• refill P's consumable inventory from his Storage
• respawn every non-Boss enemy in the area
• you cannot use a Stargazer while in combat, or while an enemy is actively chasing you

Hotel Krat

Hotel Krat isn't a part of a specific Chapter, it is always accessible and serves as a hub for upgrades, build experimentation, NPCs and merchants. It can be compared to Firelink Shrine or Roundtable Hold from other similar games.

The hotel evolves over time - discovered NPCs will travel here, offer unique dialogues and live in the hotel. The hotel will get attacked in the late-game and its ultimate fate is decided by choosing an ending.

Chapter I - Krat Central Station

Krat Central Station and its surroundings are the first level of Lies of P. This area is populated by weak puppets and puppet dogs. The area is short and mostly straightforward. Its end is marked by P's first entry to Hotel Krat.

Chapter II - Elysion Boulevard

Sophia directs P to save Geppetto on Elysion Boulevard. This chapter is a complex of city streets and apartments reminiscent of the belle epoque historic era.

Chapter III - Venigni Works

P goes to save Lorenzini Venigni from the Puppet Frenzy. Make your way through the Workshop Union houses filled with more difficult frenzied puppets, then enter the Venigni Works Factory to save Venigni and his butler, Pulcinella.

Chapter IV - St. Frangelico Cathedral

Travel through Moonlight Town and Path of Misery to discover a new type of enemies - the Carcasses, suffering from the Petrification Disease. At the end of the road is a massive St. Frangelico Cathedral, whose Archbishop Andreus was once a strong ally against the Puppet Frenzy.

Chapter V - Malum District

Enter the slum area known as Path of the Pilgrim, to reach the Malum District, a run-down neighbourhood of Krat, owned by the Black Rabbit Brotherhood and populated by Carcasses and Stalkers.

Chapter VI - Estella Opera House

This chapter marks the beginning of the mid-game. You will gain access to the Rosa Isabelle Street, a quaint street filled with Puppets. You must fight your way through and reach the Estella Opera House to defeat Romeo, King of Puppets and the leader of the Puppets.

Chapter VII - Grand Exhibition

Fight your way through the multi-storied Lorenzini Arcade dungeon to gain access to the Grand Exhibition, a large and complex building filled with puppets and alchemists.

Chapter VIII - Barren Swamp

Enter the Barren Swamp, a massive puppet wasteyard filled with broken-down enemies. This area is long and difficult, with one of the most challenging bosses at the end. The Hermit's Cave area is only accessible after Chapter IX - learn more at the Rusty Cryptic Vessel in the Cryptic Vessels checklist.

Chapter IX - Krat Central Station Revisit

Return to the Krat Central Station area, which is now severely affected by Decay and Corruption. The puppets are scarier and more difficult, but you must push to save attacked Hotel Krat and your allies.

Chapter X - Relic of Trismegistus

Explore the Alchemist's base below Hotel Krat. Cross the secret passage behind Lady Antonia Cerasani's portrait in Hotel Krat and face the Black Rabbit Brotherhood for the second time.

Chapter XI - Arche Abbey

Use the submarine to reach the Alchemist's Isle with a massive fortress named Arche Abbey guarding it. Arche Abbey is a gigantic and tall castle and is the most complex and difficult dungeon in the game.

How many Stargazers are in Lies of P?

This checklist tracks 50 Stargazers across every chapter of Krat, including story boss arenas and the optional Hermit's Cave Stargazer. Use the tables grouped by chapter to visit them in a sensible route.

What do Stargazers do in Lies of P?

Stargazers are checkpoints: you respawn there after death, fast travel between discovered ones, level up, manage inventory and storage, assemble weapons, swap Legion Arms and Grindstones, and refill most resources (not Fable). Using one also respawns non-boss enemies in the area.

How do I use this Stargazers checklist?

Check off each Stargazer as you light it. Progress saves automatically in your browser with no account. Section counters show completion per chapter table, and the stats at the top show your overall total.

Is the Hermit's Cave Stargazer required?

It sits in an optional area unlocked through Polendina's Krat Supply Boxes and the Rusty Cryptic Vessel. It is still listed here because many 100% routes include it when collecting Hermit's Cave loot.
