Legion Arms - Key Information:
Legion Arms are a type of side weapon you can use anytime. Using Legion Arm consumes a special type of "mana" called Legion.
Your Legion resource is refilled with every rest at a Stargazer. You can also refill it with Legion Magazine consumables, having a specific build or choosing P-Organ upgrades that refill Legion in certain cases, like defeating an enemy.
Legion Arms are very strong. They have their own Ability Scaling for increasing damage. Legion Arms can also be upgraded with Legion Calibers (6 Legion Calibers for 1 fully upgraded Legion Arm), adding different options, behaviour or movesets.
Legion upgrades, swaps and unlocks are done at Venigni's machine.
Which Legion Arm to Choose:
There are enough Legion Plugs to get every single Legion Arm in the game in one run, but there aren't enough Legion Calibers to upgrade them all. Therefore you should plan ahead.
The best Legion Arm is the Puppet String. It is unlocked at the very start. The base version allows you to grapple enemies towards you, incredibly useful in pacing large groups or in tight parkour sections like the St. Frangelico Cathedral. The upgraded version allows you to instead grapple yourself towards an enemy, allowing you to cross dangerous gaps.
The best version allows you to grapple yourself to an enemy, then fly to the air and perform a very strong hit from above. This flying hit is incredibly strong. It can deal a Staggering attack on its own (when enemy HP bar is white, this breaks their posture and allows for Fatal ATK) without risking long animations when charging Heavy attacks to break posture otherwise. The only downside is that well-timed enemy attack can break your jump, so this has to be done mindfully.
The second good consideration is Aegis, which is very strong in parrying and dealing reverse damage to certain difficult bosses, such as Romeo, King of Puppets (phase 2), Puppet-Devouring Green Monster, and Nameless Puppet.
Legion Arms & Legion Plugs - How to Obtain:
There are 8 total Legion Arms in base-game Lies of P.
The first Legion Arm is equipped as default, the next three (Puppet String, Fulminis, Flamberge) are rewards for early-game progression.
For the other four Legion Arms (Aegis, Falcon Eyes, Deus Ex Machina, Pandemonium), you need to find four Legion Plugs and exchange them at Venigni's Legion Arm Machine. Any of the four Legion Plugs can be used to get any of the four Legion Arms.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many Legion Arms are there?
Eight trackable entries: Left Arm of Steel (default), Puppet String, Fulminis, Flamberge from Eugenie, and four Legion Plugs exchanged at Venigni's machine for Aegis, Falcon Eyes, Deus Ex Machina, or Pandemonium.
Are Legion Plugs missable?
No. All four plugs stay in the world until you pick them up. Any plug can unlock any of the four optional arms at Venigni's machine.
Which Legion Arm should I upgrade first?
Puppet String is the strongest general pick: grapple enemies early, then upgrade for gap-crossing and a devastating aerial stagger hit. Aegis is excellent for parry-focused boss fights.
How many Legion Calibers do I need?
Six Calibers fully upgrade one Legion Arm. There are not enough Calibers in one run to max every arm, so plan your main upgrade path.
How do I use this Legion Arms checklist?
Unlock each arm or plug in game, then tick the row. Auto-save is browser-only. Pair with Bosses (Eugenie rewards) and Trinity (Plug #3 is near Trinity Key #3).
