This checklist has been updated for the Tarnished Update / Tarnished DLC / Tarnished Edition / Tarnished Pack that released on 27/28th August. It contains all items from Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree and the Tarnished update.

This checklist contains every Light Bow, Bow, Greatbow, Crossbow, and Ballista in Elden Ring, including Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. There are 31 total ranged projectile weapons across these five weapon classes.

Staves and Sacred Seals are catalysts rather than projectile weapons, so they have their own checklists. Melee weapons are covered on the Weapons Checklist Hub.

How to Get All Ranged Weapons

Bows, Crossbows, and Ballistas are found as world loot, merchant purchases, enemy drops, NPC rewards, and boss rewards across the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow.

Most can be collected in a single playthrough, although a few unique weapons are tied to specific questlines or optional areas. Use this checklist to keep track of every projectile ranged weapon.

About Ranged Weapons

Light Bows favor mobility and rapid fire, while standard Bows offer a balanced mix of range and damage. Greatbows deliver heavy long-range shots with high stagger potential.

Crossbows and Ballistas fire bolts instead of arrows and often emphasize burst damage or status effects. These weapon classes support a wide range of Dexterity, Strength, and quality builds.

All Light Bows

The first group of Ranged Weapons, in the order as seen in Elden Ring's game inventory. Light Bows are quick, mobile and agile ranged weapons, but usually deal low damage, even compared to other Ranged options. They require Arrows.

There are 6 Ranged Weapons in All Light Bows.

		Composite Bow Region: Liurnia of the Lakes Site of Grace: Bellum Church Ranged Weapon	Sold by a Nomadic Merchant down the hole from Bellum Church, for 3500 Runes. Location of Composite Bow:
		Red Branch Shortbow Region: Weeping Peninsula Site of Grace: Tombsward Ranged Weapon	Approximately 4% drop chance from Pages wielding this weapon. Best farming spot: Two Pages are in the cellar of Tombsward Ruins. Location of Red Branch Shortbow:
		Misbegotten Shortbow Region: Weeping Peninsula Site of Grace: Castle Morne Lift Ranged Weapon	Approximately 2% drop chance from Flying Misbegotten. Best farming spot: The ramparts of Castle Morne. This is a long and annoying route, good luck. Location of Misbegotten Shortbow:
		Harp Bow Region: Altus Plateau Site of Grace: Rampartside Path Ranged Weapon	Solve the Champion's Song Painting - on the plateau where you fight Ancient Dragon Lansseax #2 boss. Location of Harp Bow:
		Bone Bow (DLC) Region: Gravesite Plain Site of Grace: Small Private Altar DLC Ranged Weapon	Head up the first stairs, then fast left and right to get to the waterfall. Go into the room there, up the ladder and turn left. Go all the way left into the room with a large Spider-Scorpion. Location of Bone Bow:

All Bows

The second group of Ranged Weapons, in the order as seen in Elden Ring's game inventory. Bows are mid-ranged range weapons, but usually deal low damage, even compared to other Ranged options. They require Arrows.

There are 8 Ranged Weapons in All Bows.

		Longbow Region: Roundtable Hold Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace Ranged Weapon	Sold by Twin Maiden Husks for 1200 Runes.
		Albinauric Bow Region: Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace: Ordina, Liturgical Town Ranged Weapon	Approximately 4% drop chance from Albinauric Arches on Wolves wielding this weapon. Best farming spot: Several are south of Ordina. Location of Albinauric Bow:
		Black Bow Region: Leyndell Site of Grace: Avenue Balcony Ranged Weapon	Missable - collect before burning the Erdtree! From Avenue Balcony site of grace, go down the stairs, turn right and drop down onto the path near the sewers. Turn right again and up the stairs, then head left and straight up a large stairs. Mid-way through them, jump onto the rooftop on the left. Now head west and jump across about six rooftops until you reach a roof with the Black Bow. Location of Black Bow:
		Ansbach's Longbow (DLC) Region: Shadow Keep Site of Grace: Storehouse, First Floor DLC Ranged Weapon	Missable - Progress Leda's questline to Step 8 and either invade Ansbach or help him, both cases yield the longbow. Location of Ansbach's Longbow:
		Pulley Bow Region: Volcano Manor Site of Grace: First Mt. Gelmir Campsite Ranged Weapon	From the First Mt. Gelmir Campsite site of grace, head west and climb the watchtower, then loot the corpse. Location of Pulley Bow:
		Horn Bow Region: Siofra River Site of Grace: Siofra River Bank Ranged Weapon	Head to the stairway going to the Ancestor Spirit, but go to the right of the stairs and drop onto a small ledge. After picking up a Golden Rune, jump around the corner to get under the bridge and loot the Horn Bow. Location of Horn Bow:
		Serpent Bow Region: Caelid Site of Grace: Abandoned Cave Ranged Weapon	In Abandoned Cave, progress the main path until you reach a Summoning Obelisk. Past it, drop down to the right into the rot lake and pick the Serpent Bow up from the ground. Location of Serpent Bow:
		Erdtree Bow Region: Leyndell Site of Grace: Erdtree Sanctuary Ranged Weapon	Head up the tree root, onto the second floor and when outside again, immediatelly turn left and drop onto the golden rooftop. Enter through the broken window and loot the chest on the right. Location of Erdtree Bow:

All Greatbows

The third group of Ranged Weapons, in the order as seen in Elden Ring's game inventory. Greatbows are slow ranged weapons, but usually deal low damage, like other Bows. Their most meaningful impact is generally on enemy Poise. They require Great Arrows.

There are 5 Ranged Weapons in All Greatbows.

		Golem Greatbow Region: Caelid Site of Grace: Deep Siofra Well Ranged Weapon	Approximately 8% drop chance from Golems wielding this weapon. Best farming spot: Two such Golems are on the route from Deep Siofra Well to The Great Jar. Location of Golem Greatbow:
		Erdtree Greatbow Region: Limgrave Site of Grace: Stranded Graveyard Ranged Weapon	In Fringefolk Hero's Grave, destroy the Chariot by shooting pots hanging above the hallway. To get to the shooting spot, drop down as lowest as you can, then find an elevator to appear in a position where you see the pots, then wait for the Chariot to arrive. Location of Erdtree Greatbow:
		Igon's Greatbow (DLC) Region: Jagged Peak Site of Grace: Foot of the Jagged Peak DLC Ranged Weapon	Missable! Progress Igon's questline to Step 7, you MUST summon him for Bayle the Dread boss. Location of Igon's Greatbow:
		Lion Greatbow Region: Roundtable Hold Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace Ranged Weapon	Missable! Sold by Finger Reader Enia for the Remembrance of the Starscourge, dropped from the Starscourge Radahn boss.

All Crossbows

The fourth group of Ranged Weapons, in the order as seen in Elden Ring's game inventory. Crossbows are slow ranged weapons, but usually deal low damage. Their most meaningful impact is generally in activating Status Effects. They require Bolts.

There are 9 Ranged Weapons in All Crossbows.

		Soldier's Crossbow Region: Stormhill Site of Grace: Saintsbridge Ranged Weapon	Approximately 4% drop chance from any Foot Soldiers or Exile Soldiers wielding this weapon. Best farming spot: The cliff north of Saintsbridge sites of grace has at least two Foot Soldiers with this crossbow. Location of Soldier's Crossbow:
		Light Crossbow Region: Weeping Peninsula Site of Grace: Castle Morne Rampart Ranged Weapon	Sold by the Nomadic Merchant for 1500 Runes. Location of Light Crossbow:
		Heavy Crossbow Region: Limgrave Site of Grace: Gatefront Ranged Weapon	Approximately 4% drop chance from any Soldiers wielding this weapon. Best farming spot: Several are on the path from Gatefront to Stormhill Shack. Location of Heavy Crossbow:
		Arbalest Region: Stormveil Castle Site of Grace: Rampart Tower Ranged Weapon	From Rampart Tower site of grace, go outside and immediately drop down to a rooftop on the right, Then drop on the left and then again down to see a tunnel leading into a cellar with a Godskin Prayerbook and Godslayer's Seal. Continue out, then turn right and go up a ladder. Follow the rampart and go up a second ladder. Run past the Banished Knights and when you appear on the wooden bridge, drop down and head to the right. Hug the eastern wall and jump across the tower battlements, pick up Arbalest from a corpse near an enemy with a Ballista. Location of Arbalest:
		Crepus's Black-Key Crossbow Region: Roundtable Hold Site of Grace: Table of Lost Grace Ranged Weapon	Behind the first Imp Seal Gate.
		Pulley Crossbow Region: Volcano Manor Site of Grace: Craftsman's Shack Ranged Weapon	On a corpse near the Craftsman's Shack site of grace. Location of Pulley Crossbow:
		Repeating Crossbow (DLC) Region: Scadu Altus Site of Grace: Moorth Highway, South DLC Ranged Weapon	On a ground near a wooden barricade, near the highway north of Moorth Highway, South site of grace. Close to where you fight the Ghostflame Dragon (Scadu Altus) boss. Location of Repeating Crossbow:
		Spread Crossbow (DLC) Region: Gravesite Plain Site of Grace: Castle Front DLC Ranged Weapon	In a ruined camp below a small cliff, directly south of the Castle Front site of grace. Location of Spread Crossbow:
		Full Moon Crossbow Region: Raya Lucaria Academy Site of Grace: Debate Parlor Ranged Weapon	Go into the courtyard, up the rubble on the left and jump across the railings to get onto the rooftops. Cross them and go up the ladder to get on a bridge. Go to the tower, behind it and drop onto another rooftop, then once more. After two jumps down, stay on this roof and head straight, then make a long jump to land on a third rooftop. Continue this path, across the narrow roof, until you eventually reach a ladder to a chest with the Full Moon Crossbow. Location of Full Moon Crossbow:

All Ballistas

The fifth group of Ranged Weapons, in the order as seen in Elden Ring's game inventory. Ballistas are slow ranged weapons, but they don't have to be reloaded after each shot. Their most meaningful impact is generally in activating Status Effects. They require Great Bolts.
