Victimised Quest Guide | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Side questVictimised is a side quest in the KuttenbergKuttenberg region. To unlock this quest, you must first complete The Devil's Pack main quest (Main questThe Devil's Pack) and the Damsel in Distress task (TaskDamsel in Distress).

How to Start the Victimised Quest

Once those are finished, you need to wait more than five in-game days for the quest to trigger. You can check with Innkeeper Wolfram Raus at the inn south of LocationPschitoky for a tip, or simply look for a quest marker at that same inn. There you will find Margaret, the woman you helped previously, begging outside.

When you speak to Margaret, she explains she wants to pull off a blackmail scheme against a wealthy burgher in Kuttenberg who supposedly poisoned his wife.

Victimised Shortcut

If you want to skip the quest entirely, you have the immediate option to give her 1,000 Groschen. Doing this completes the quest right away, but Margaret will run outside the map boundaries and you will not be able to get your money back.

To experience the full quest and maximize your rewards, agree to help her with the scheme instead. She will give you her mother's ring as collateral to prove she will not abandon you.

Gathering the Materials

To execute the blackmail scheme, Margaret requires you to collect three specific items before the plan can move forward.

First, you need a strong sleeping potion. You must obtain a Lullaby poison, which can be purchased from any Apothecary, such as the one in Pschitoky. Alternatively, you can brew it yourself at an alchemy bench using one Herb Paris, one Poppy, and one Thistle.

Second, you need a high-quality dress for Margaret. You can purchase the Noblewoman's Cotehardie from the tailor in LocationMiskowitz or Kuttenberg. You can also choose to steal a high-quality dress from a wealthy home at night, or from the chest at the Burnt Down Mill interesting site.

Third, Henry needs an outfit with high Charisma and absolutely no armor.

Once you have all three items, return to Margaret and put the clothes on. If she approves of your appearance, she will tell you to meet her in Kuttenberg in the evening.

Putting the Plan into Action

Travel to Kuttenberg in the evening. You will find Margaret across from the fisherman, near the central square.

If you arrive too early, you can interact with the nearby bench to automatically wait until the correct time. Margaret will walk you through the next stage of the plan. Your target is a tailor named Latsek, who is spending his evening at the Hangman's Halter tavern.

Tailor Latsek at Hangman's Halter tavern

Infiltrating the Hangman's Halter

Head into the tavern and locate Latsek sitting near a window. Engage him in conversation.

To get him to drink with you, you must pass a dialogue check. You can choose a hard Charisma check, a medium Craftsmanship check, or a medium Warfare check.

Dialogue skill check to drink with Latsek

After the skill check, he will get up to use the toilet. Wait until he has completely walked away and is out of sight. If he spots you messing with his drink, the quest will fail.

Interact with his cup to pour the Lullaby potion inside. Then wait until he returns back inside. When Latsek returns, keep talking to him while waiting for the potion to take effect.

He will eventually stand up to get some fresh air. Follow him outside the tavern yard, where he will collapse near the gate.

Pick up his unconscious body. Make sure to pull out a torch while carrying him so the city guards do not become suspicious of your actions.

Unconscious Latsek outside Hangman's Halter

Carry Latsek to the designated meeting point and drop him inside the hayloft with Margaret. Speak to Margaret, agree to wait until morning, and take a nap.

In the Morning

Henry will wake up to a shout in the morning. Head over to the loft to find that the plan went sideways because Latsek woke up, hit Margaret, and ran off.

Agree to accompany Margaret to confront him immediately. Follow her on foot to find Latsek. This encounter features major branching paths based on how you handle the dialogue.

Victimised All Endings

The main decision is the second timed dialogue choice:

Timed dialogue good path vs bad path Victimised

Choosing "And do you remember that black eye of hers?" leads to the Good Path (below). Staying silent is followed by the Bad Path.

Both the good path and bad path have multiple endings. Follow the instructions to Ending 5 to see the best possible outcome.

Bad Path: Stay Silent and Side with Margaret

Follow Margaret's instructions and let her do all the talking during the confrontation. Do not speak up. Margaret will successfully extort the money from Latsek without any issues, and the two of you will head back to the loft.

In the hayloft, you have a few options on how to end the quest:

Ending 1: Choosing to Kiss Margaret. If you accept her offer for a roll in the hay and kiss her, she will secretly steal one-fifth (20%) of all the Groschen you currently have on your person.

Ending 2: Turning Down the Kiss. If you refuse the kiss, you can directly decide how to split the extortion money. You can choose to give her all of it, take the half you originally agreed upon, or take only a quarter.

Ending 3: The Pickpocket Outcome. If you successfully pickpocketed all the money off her during the walk back to the hayloft, choosing to ask for your cut instead of a kiss triggers unique dialogue.

Margaret will drop her con artist act and express genuine surprise that the money is missing. Henry can then act angry that she scammed him, and she will walk away for good.

Good Path: Intervene and Expose Margaret

If you choose to speak up during the interrogation and ask about her black eye, his wenchmongering, or his dead wife, the truth comes out.

Latsek reveals that Margaret's entire story is a scam. He has been married to the same wife for 30 years and never poisoned anyone. Margaret still gets the money but scolds you afterward for ruining her play.

If you intervene, another option will appear to either let her go or stop her:

Expose Margaret scam during confrontation

Ending 4: Staying silent means letting her go, which completes the quest immediately.

Ending 5 (Morally Best Ending): The other two options means you will threaten Margaret with hanging.

She will counter you, revealing she does these scams for a living and lied about the ring. However, you can pass two difficult intimidation skill checks to threaten her life.

Succeeding in these checks forces her to leave the money behind, either giving it to you or returning it to the tailor, before she flees to leave the map.

You also have a limited window of time to chase Margaret down and kill her as she runs off the map.

Intimidation checks force Margaret to leave money Chasing and killing Margaret as she flees

Completionist tip for Ending 5: If you force her to leave the money, you can visit the tailor afterward to apologize and return his Groschen, if you've kept them.

If you've killed her, you can mention her demise to the tailor during your apology, explaining you punished her for her wickedness.

Ending 6: Just kill her on the spot.

This finishes the Victimised side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
