How to Get All Straight & Thrusting Swords

Straight and Thrusting Swords are found throughout the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow. They can be purchased from merchants, looted from treasure chests, earned from NPC questlines or dropped by enemies. Several unique weapons are exclusive rewards from optional bosses or late-game quests.

While the majority of these weapons are obtainable during a normal playthrough, some require specific quest outcomes or progression through optional areas. This checklist helps ensure none are overlooked.

About Straight & Thrusting Swords

Straight Swords are one of the most versatile weapon classes in Elden Ring, combining reliable damage, fast attacks, and flexible movesets.

Thrusting Swords and Heavy Thrusting Swords trade wider swings for long-reaching thrust attacks, making them especially effective in one-on-one combat and while attacking behind a shield. They support a wide variety of Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, and Arcane builds depending on the weapon.

The third group of Weapons, in the order as seen in Elden Ring's game inventory. Straight Swords offer good balance between damage and attack speeds and are among the most versatile weapons in the game.

		Stone-Sheathed Sword (DLC) Region: Gravesite Plain Site of Grace: Fog Rift Catacombs DLC Weapon	"This weapon has specific mechanics. There are 3 Altars in Realm of Shadow. Interacting with the first will give you the Stone-Sheathed Sword and disable the Altar. The second and third Altars will transform it into Sword of Light and Sword of Darkness. 		Crystal Sword Region: Liurnia of the Lakes Site of Grace: Village of the Albinaurics Weapon	On a corpse hanging on a cliff across the rope bridge. Location of Crystal Sword:
		Rotten Crystal Sword Region: Miquella's Haligtree Site of Grace: Elphael Inner Wall Weapon	Jump on the branch and spot a chest with Rotten Crystal Sword, guarded by three lesser Crystallians. Location of Rotten Crystal Sword:
		Miquellan Knight's Sword Region: Miquella's Haligtree Site of Grace: Prayer Room Weapon	Go onthe main path and jump right on the first pillar you can. Climb the ladder on its back side and pick the sword from under the bell. Location of Miquellan Knight's Sword:
		Ornamental Straight Sword Region: Liurnia of the Lakes Site of Grace: The Four Belfries Weapon	Take the second belfry portal (Precipice of Anticipation) to get to Chapel of Anticipation. Defeat the Grafted Scion boss. Location of Ornamental Straight Sword:
		Golden Epitaph Region: Altus Plateau Site of Grace: Auriza Hero's Grave Weapon	Inside Auriza Hero's Grave, behind the Imp Seal Gate. Location of Golden Epitaph:
		Sword of St. Trina Region: Caelid Site of Grace: Rotview Balcony Weapon	In the cellar of Forsaken Ruins (big birds ruins), past an Imp Seal Gate. Location of Sword of St. Trina:
		Velvet Sword of St. Trina (DLC) Region: Cerulean Coast Site of Grace: Fissure Cross DLC Weapon	From the Fissure Cross site of grace, head west and jump down onto the ruined pieces. After two jumps, head east into a cave with the sword. Location of Velvet Sword of St. Trina:
		Regalia of Eochaid Region: Caelid Site of Grace: Gaol Cave Weapon	In Gaol Cave, at the side exit back to Limgrave. Location of Regalia of Eochaid:

		Sword of Night and Flame Region: Liurnia of the Lakes Site of Grace: Manor Upper Level Weapon	Continue normally from Manor Upper Level, then at the fork take the left path. Follow it, then soon spot a building on your left you can jump to. Drop down and spot a ladder, take it to land next to a chest with the Sword of Night and Flame. 		Carian Sorcery Sword (DLC) Region: Scadu Altus Site of Grace: Highroad Cross DLC Weapon	Head towards the belfry, but keep in the water to the left of it.
