All Incantations Checklist

This checklist has been updated for the Tarnished Update / Tarnished DLC / Tarnished Edition / Tarnished Pack that released on 27/28th August. It contains all items from Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree and the Tarnished update.

All Incantations Checklist Overview

The checklist is located below this introductory text.

This checklist lists every Incantation spell in Elden Ring and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. For Sorceries, visit the All Sorceries Checklist.

This checklist follows the order of the in-game inventory. You can directly compare it to your Elden Ring inventory to see what you're missing. This is the most useful order for any completionist.

Incantations: Key Information

Incantations are Faith-related spells in Elden Ring. They cost FP to cast and you must hold a catalyst: a sacred seal.

While most Incantations are connected to the Faith stat and scale with higher Faith levels, some are related to Intelligence or Arcane as well.

Incantations are incredibly versatile and consist of healing, support, damaging, and offensive spells. In-game, every Incantation is part of a certain spell school.

You can equip Incantations you own at any site of grace by choosing Memorize Spell, then moving them to your free Memory Slots. You can increase your number of Memory Slots by finding Memory Stones.

Incantations: 100% Completion Information

Several Incantations are obtained by finding a related spellbook (e.g. the Two Fingers Prayerbook) and bringing it to an Incantation-focused merchant such as Miriel, Pastor of Vows (Turtle Pope) or Brother Corhyn. After they read the spell book, they will be able to sell the Incantation to you.

A few Incantations are missable or exclusive! Several are exchanged with Finger Reader Enia for Remembrances, meaning they are technically missable, as you can also choose the other option. You can duplicate a limited amount of Remembrances in the Wandering Mausoleums.

Be especially careful in the DLC. You can also get only one Heart of Bayle item, despite there being two possible Incantation spells as rewards, and another Incantation is connected to Ansbach's questline.

If the gate is not opened yet, take the ladder opposite the site of grace to reach the pipe area. Follow the pipes to the exit southwest, go up the stairs and pick up the Shadow Bait incantation guarded by an Omen. Location of Shadow Bait:

Up the stairs, take the northern exit outside. Go past the stone gazebo and up the stairs. Ignore the second entrance, instead spot some stairs to the right of it. Go straight until you reach a red bloom. There, turn left and use the wall terrain to jump onto the second floor on Torrent.
