About Game Checklists

The Home of the 100% Completionist Community

Introduction

Game Checklists is an independent platform built for players who strive for true 100% game completion.

We create hand-crafted interactive checklists, advanced progress trackers, leaderboards and community tools for players who want to collect every item, complete every quest, defeat every boss, and experience absolutely everything a game has to offer.

Every checklist or tool is researched, written and verified by credible completionists who actually completed the game and are experts.

We're solving real headaches. With Game Checklists, there is no need for 50 open wiki tabs, verifying unreliable interactive map data or wasting hours, because you missed a time sensitive item.

Unlike traditional gaming wikis, our tools are built specifically around completion. Unlike achievement websites, we don't stop at trophies or achievements. True 100% completion is a different challenge with a community that deserves its own dedicated space.

Today, Game Checklists helps tens of thousands of players every month track their progress, discover missable content and work toward true 100%. As we continue adding more games and social features, our goal remains the same:

To build the completionist home we've always wished existed.

The Home for Completionists

We're completionists ourselves, and Game Checklists was born from a simple realization: the completionist community has never had a dedicated home.

Yes, there are some old completionist forums. Most have long since been discontinued, are too local or simply haven't kept up with the modern web. And sure, achievement hunters have plenty of forums. But they're ultimately built around achievements and trophies.

What about the players who strive for the highest gaming accomplishments: seeing truly everything, collecting every single item and defeating every boss? Getting true 100% completion is a wholly different challenge than simply earning every trophy.

Game Checklists is no longer just a source of accurate, hand-crafted completionist information. We're building a home for the 100% Completion community.

With this, we established a strong backbone of values and editorial rules, to ensure the highest content standards:

Our Backbone & Values

Human-made

  • Every sentence on Game Checklists is written by us.
  • Every collectible is found by us.
  • Every screenshot is captured by us.

We don't mass-produce AI articles, generate generic game guides or scrape community databases. Every checklist is created by people who have deep knowledge in that game.

Accuracy Above Everything

Completionists invest hundreds of hours into a game. One incorrect collectible location or one wrongly marked missable item can make dozens of wasted hours. Accuracy always comes before quantity.

We verify every collectible, quest, achievement and checklist before publishing it.

We never use unreliable interactive maps or community wikis which often have wrong information.

Built for Completionists

Most gaming websites are catch-all projects, designed for everyone. Game Checklists is not.

This is a platform for completionists, by completionists. Every feature, from Progress Trackers to Leaderboards, is designed to primarily cater to the 100% Completion community.

Community first

Game Checklists started as a collection of checklists. Now, it's become something much larger.

Profiles, Progress Trackers, Leaderboards, Discord community and more are all part of a dedicated home for completionists we're building: a community that has spent years living in Reddit threads, spreadsheets and forums, now united on one platform.

That is why we started Game Checklists in the first place: to give the completionist community a home.

Our Story: How the Pillar of 100% Community was Born

Game Checklists was founded in 2025 by @spejsikx from his living room, a lifelong completionist and achievement hunter. Over time, more dedicated and reputable completionists joined the team.

Long before this website existed, we created and maintained massive and comprehensive spreadsheets for every item in RPGs like The Witcher 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Dark Souls games. You can still find our work used by platinum hunters and completionists online, buried in Reddit, Discord and Github history.

There is no corporation, there is no million-dollar funding like with gaming wikis, no reusing content, no leeching from a gaming community. There are only completionists with 1000s of hours on Steam with spreadsheets and some development skills. If you'd like to support this idea, please read more on how to Become a Founder.

Back in late 2025, we started with only one game: Hollow Knight: Silksong. We then followed up with the most detailed completionist tools available online for Expedition 33. Since then, our game count gradually grew to 10 in July 2026, including classics like Elden Ring, Subnautica 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and more. Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 followed in August 2026, bringing the site to 12 games.

Our portfolio later expanded with our custom-built Progress Trackers, which visualize the player's total progress within our checklist.

In August 2026, we launched 100% Leaderboards and the 100% Completion Community Discord. These are the first of many planned social features.

With its new visual identity, introduced in August, Game Checklists is transforming into a true home for the 100% Completion Community with an array of new social features: from enhanced Profiles and a Discord server to Leaderboards and completion ranks.

Before, completionists would just use Game Checklists for reliable information. Now, they are gathering, chatting and competing within our social features, making this the largest completionist hub currently online.

Today the platform includes Progress Trackers, public Leaderboards, user profiles, cloud synchronization and an active community that continues to grow every month.

How We Build Every Tool

At the start of everything, there's usually a checklist. Checklists are the backbone of not only the 100% Completion Hubs we run, but also the Progress Trackers and Leaderboards.

  1. We play every game extensively on release, or reach into our older database
  2. We start with our own hand-made spreadsheets, which is the main time-consuming part
  3. The data is then usually reviewed by another completionist.
  4. Then we turn the spreadsheets into easy-to-read checklists, with intuitive design, our own screenshots and more unique information.
  5. Lastly, we connect our features like Progress Trackers, Leaderboards and more.
  6. Every checklist and tool has an author. We're transparent about who creates our content

Depending on the game's size, this process can take anywhere from two weeks to several months. For example, documenting and organizing roughly 2,000 collectible items in Elden Ring alone required around four weeks of dedicated work before the checklist was ready for publication. We prioritize quality at every step.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Game Checklists?

Game Checklists, hosted at game-checklists.com, is a free, browser-based platform designed for achievement hunters and completionists who want to track their gaming progress and interact with the community.

We provide detailed, interactive checklists for video games that help you achieve 100% completion, unlock all achievements, and earn Platinum trophies.

Our checklists are specifically built for players who want to track collectibles, achievements, and completion requirements. You can save your progress on your device or in the cloud, which we recommend, using our accounts system.

Our Accounts & Profile system is advanced, visualizing your progress in powerful Progress Trackers and displaying your completion rank in public leaderboards.

We're built by achievement hunters, for achievement hunters.

How do I use Game Checklists?

Choose a game from our homepage, select a checklist, and check off items as you complete them. Your progress is automatically saved to your browser's local storage.

You can also create a free account to sync progress across devices, but this is not mandatory. No downloads, no imports, just convenient checklists, progress trackers and completion tools.

How do the checklists work?

Our checklists use your browser's LocalStorage to save progress automatically. Every check or uncheck is saved immediately.

Progress is device-specific unless you use a free account to sync, which is highly recommended, as the account powers a variety of features, like Progress Trackers, Leaderboards, Profile Overview and more.

If you only rely on browser saving and clear your browser's cache or local storage (without an account), your progress will be reset.

Will you add more games in the future?

Yes! We're planning to add more games. We currently offer checklists for 12 games: Hollow Knight: Silksong, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, The Witcher 3, Hades II, Nine Sols, Lies of P, Hollow Knight, Subnautica 2 and Elden Ring.

You can vote on next games to add in the Profile section.

Where can I view all available checklists and trackers?

For everything, visit our homepage or use the dropdown menus in the site header.

Each game has its own index page (e.g. Silksong, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2), which shows all available checklists, that game's Progress Tracker and Leaderboard.

There are on average 15-20 checklists for each game, sensibly divided and built for real completionist needs.

Is my data safe and private?

Yes. Accounts are optional. Progress is stored locally by default. With account data, we don't sell, share, or monetize your stored data. We only collect what we have to power the technology, like your e-mail address, username and what items you collected. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Do I need to pay for anything?

No. Game Checklists is completely free. All checklists and guides are available at no cost. There are no content paywalls or other annoying features. If you'd like to support our mission, please consider Becoming a Founder. See the benefits.

Can I use checklists on mobile devices?

Yes. Game Checklists is fully responsive and works on desktop, tablets, and mobile phones.

What if I lose my progress?

Progress can be lost if you clear browser cache, use a different browser or device, or use private/incognito mode.

Create a free account to sync progress across devices and avoid losing it. Otherwise, avoid clearing local storage and consider taking screenshots as backup.
