Wedding Crashers Quest Guide | Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Main questWedding Crashers is the fourth main quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It is started directly after finishing Main questLaboratores. When you start Wedding Crashers, you are finally leaving the Prologue and entering the open world.

This is a massive quest with insane amounts of optional content. Completionists should plan their route before going to the wedding.

The quest has two main objectives - ensure you are invited to the wedding either through Blacksmith Radovan or Miller Kreyzl - and then actually attending the wedding. This comprehensive guide covers both aspects, including tips for completionists and achievement hunters.

After securing your access, the wedding starts well but ends in a massive fistfight which ends with Henry and Hans Capon as prisoners in Trosky Castle during Main questFor Whom the Bell Tolls main quest.

When to go to the wedding?

Wedding Crashers is a massive quest consisting of six separate lengthy side quests. It will likely take you several days to finally get to the wedding and many players do most of the optional content even before the wedding.

The quest starts when Henry and Hans Capon hear about the Semine wedding and identify it as a good opportunity to meet von Bergow. But first, they need to find a way to get invited to the wedding, which is the largest part of this quest.

The wedding itself is a small point of no return and affects several quests, even though it is only at the very beginning of the main story. This is not a timed quest and the wedding is only started after your confirmation.

You can immediately go do everything required for Wedding Crashers and then go to the wedding and then continue. You can also spend 20 in-game hours in the Trosky open world doing everything possible.

Who to choose for the wedding?

Up to your preference, but Radovan's quests are simply cooler and more interesting, introducing you to key figures like Sir Jan Semine or Captain Gnarly. Read the next section to see the detailed overview of both routes.

Note that if you are a completionist and want to see as much as possible, due to the quest structure we recommend this:

  • Go do first Miller Kreyzl's wedding access but don't go to the wedding yet.
  • Go do Blacksmith Radovan's wedding quests but don't go to the wedding yet.

Note: You are locked in to either Radovan or Kreyzl only after actually going to the wedding. You can freely complete any of their side quests; the decision that matters is only with which you will go to the wedding - which is only decided during their third quests in line (Side questThe Hermit and Side questOpus Magnum).

Other quests are not affected by the wedding, but the story picks up faster just after it, so we also recommend doing most of Trosky content before the wedding even if you're just playing casually.

How to get to the wedding - Radovan route

One of the two possible ways to get to the Semine wedding is through Blacksmith Radovan in LocationTachov. Radovan's route is mostly focused around combat, blacksmithing and craftsmanship.

How to do it:

  1. Find Blacksmith Radovan in LocationTachov.
  2. Start and finish Side questThe Blacksmith's Son side quest, which is an introduction to blacksmithing.
  3. Finish Side questThe Jaunt side quest, which is long and happens around LocationSemine and LocationApollonia.
  4. Finish Side questThe Hermit side quest, which is even longer and happens around LocationTroskowitz and LocationApollonia.
  5. Go to the wedding when it's the right time for you, or do Kreyzl's quests too to not miss out.

Note: While both Radovan's and Kreyzl's quests are in-game marked as “Side Quests”, you need to complete Radovan's or Kreyzl's questline (each has 3 side quests), so they are technically mandatory, but you can choose the route.

How to get to the wedding - Kreyzl route

The other way to get to the Semine wedding is with Miller Kreyzl in LocationLower Semine Mill. Kreyzl's route is mostly focused around sneaking, stealth, pickpocketing or lockpicking, but not direct confrontation.

How to do it:

  1. Find Miller Kreyzl in LocationLower Semine Mill.
  2. Start and finish the Side questMateria Prima side quest, where you steal a document from LocationTroskowitz rathaus.
  3. Start and finish the Side questForbidden Fruit side quest, where you help the LocationTroskowitz gravekeeper so he shares a location of a saltpetre pit Kreyzl is looking for.
  4. Start Side questOpus Magnum and get to the point where you can set off for the wedding with Enneleyn.
  5. Go to the wedding when it's the right time for you, or do Radovan's quests too to not miss out.

Note: Miller Kreyzl's questline doesn't actually end with the wedding like Radovan's. Progressing Opus Magnum to reach the wedding as Kreyzl's guest is necessary, but Opus Magnum actually ends much later and continues even after the wedding.

Once you infiltrate the wedding, the ultimate objective of the Opus Magnum side quest will be to bring a book to Kreyzl and it can only be picked up after Main questBack in the Saddle, which is many hours after the wedding.

Every quest out of the six possible with the miller and blacksmith has its own dedicated guide - read them for in-depth walkthroughs, secrets and rewards. The rest of this guide is dedicated to what happens at the wedding.

The Wedding Starts

Before the ceremony

Note that to even start the wedding, you'll need to get your hands on some high Charisma clothes. Visit Tailor Bartoshek at LocationTroskowitz first with at least 300 Groschen to spare.

While the primary goal is a meeting with Otto von Bergow, the event is a massive celebration spanning four distinct phases, filled with side activities, tournaments, and optional secrets.

Wedding Quest Structure

How stages work

  • The wedding is split into four distinct stages during the day, each filled with different optional activities. They are divided by a small black cutscene with text.
  • In every stage, you can complete an unlimited number of Optional activities before finishing with the Mandatory activity, which progresses the quest to a next stage.
  • If you want to do everything, you should first do everything optional in each stage before doing the Mandatory activity, which should be done last.
  • Stage 1 has a set Mandatory activity, you can choose which activity you want for Stages 2 & 3 and Stage 4 depends on whether you've chosen Radovan or Kreyzl
  • Most activities are episodic and happen during multiple wedding phases, so all should be started at Stage 1 and not left for later stages.

Use this detailed guide to finish every Optional activity and not accidentally end a wedding phase prematurely. We always list All optional activities before the Mandatory activity.

Some stages of the wedding (mostly Stage 1: Arrival and Stage 4: Help Radovan/Kreyzl) have big differences in how they play out, depending on who you've arrived with.

100% tip: You need 2 full playthroughs of the wedding to see everything. Arrive both with Radovan and then Kreyzl.

Saves & branching

Once you get to the wedding, you will be introduced to several objectives. They will each progress the wedding to the next stage. Not all objectives are completable without reloading saves and some objectives are also available depending on your dialogue choices at the wedding, or if you've arrived with Radovan or Enneleyn & Kreyzl.

If you want to see everything Wedding Crashers has to offer, then save before going, because you will need two full wedding playthroughs. Your first run should be with Radovan and second with Kreyzl. It doesn't matter which you keep going forward, the second stage of the Side questOpus Magnum is accessible even if you choose Radovan.

Wedding Stage 1: Arrive at the Wedding

Your situation upon arrival depends on who you accompanied.

If you are with Kreyzl, two scenarios can happen:

  • If you've done Side questThe Jaunt, Sir Jan Semine will welcome you first.
  • In both possible outcomes, Ulrich shows up and Kreyzl introduces Henry and Enneleyn (alias Kvyeta of Kolin). Ulrich will then try to stay alone with Enneleyn and will attempt to dismiss you immediately.
Ulrich at Semine wedding with Kreyzl route

If you are with Radovan, that means you've completed Side questThe Jaunt quest, therefore:

  • Jan Semine will warmly welcome you without issue and mention you could help him later. Ulrich doesn't show up at all.

Welcome to the wedding. Now you can do some or all Optional activities, or continue straight to the Mandatory activity.

All Optional activities during Wedding Stage 1:

Swordfighting tournament: Olda

Head to the barn and speak to Gnarly. You can bet on the current fight (the merchant typically wins). Challenge the groom, Olda, to a duel and defeat him to begin your winning streak. Come back during the next wedding stage to continue this activity. Every time you can also bet on the winner of the next battle and reap your rewards in the next stage.

Duel with Olda at the wedding tournament
Dice tournament: Radovan & Ulrich

Speak to Bailiff Thrush in the barn. You need to defeat three total players: Chamberlain Ulrich, Blacksmith Radovan and Apothecary Emmerich.

Easily available first is Ulrich: talk to him and ask him to play. The game is for 1500 points and if you win, you will get the Tin Headstart Badge. Then you can go straight to Radovan; you can drink with him before playing. Defeat him and earn the Tin Badge of Might. Apothecary Emmerich is only accessible at the next wedding stage so this is all for the dice tournament for now.

Keep Vostatek sober (Stage 1)

If you previously completed the Side questLackey side quest, Vostatek will ask you to keep him from drinking. You must find him in every subsequent phase and take the drink from his hand.

Dance with Doubravka

Her mother will ask you to invite her daughter to dance. Doubravka is a poor dancer (this costs 15% of your health), but using smooth Speech skills here makes her romanceable in the next phase.

You can also speak to:
  • George and Michael from Side questTroubadours near the dice table; you can drink with them.
  • Old Olbram near where people dance; you can drink with him, depending on the Mice & Frogs outcome.
  • Innkeeper Prochek; you can drink with him, depending on the Mice & Frogs outcome.
  • Miller Kreyzl; you can drink with him.
  • Innkeeper Betty at the back near the wine barrel.
  • Unnamed peasant who will talk of the Cabbage thief connected to the Interesting siteCabbage Cave interesting site.
  • Gules if you've done Side questThe Jaunt; you can drink with him.
  • Hans Capon: locate Hans Capon in the barn next to the dice table, but he won't tell you much now. He will become more talkative later.
  • Several other NPCs like shepherds that can have 1 dialogue option tied to a previous or future side quest.

Mandatory activity: Dance with Myshka

Svatya and Vitek will bet you that you can't outdo Vuytek in wooing Myshka. Tell Vuytek, “Why don't we leave Myshka alone?” to earn her respect, or later say that she doesn't like poems at all, which also works. Follow her to the pond and you can also accept her invitation to dance to boost your reputation, and report back to Svatya to advance the wedding. Doing this successfully enables her for help in Stage 2 (Feed the Beggars). If you go back to Svatya, this will progress the quest to Stage 2.

Wedding Stage 2: Help the Beggars

Start the phase with speaking to Jan Semine. He will mention two issues: the beggars or the Moravians. These are two separate Mandatory activities and they will each progress the wedding to the next phase. Either solve the Moravians or beggars first; the other will be left for Stage 3. We recommend starting with the beggars first.

All Optional activities during Wedding Stage 2:

Finish the dice tournament

Speak to Apothecary Emmerich, who reveals he lost his badge. Go back and beat Thrush at dice to learn that actually Innkeeper Betty has the prize. Defeat her (requires a 200 Groschen bet, or 50 if you've finished Side questInvaders and can pass a Speech check) to win the Gold Wedding Badge and your bet back.

Vostatek (Stage 2)

Catch Vostatek at the barn and stop him from drinking. Or let him, to gain reputation.

Vostatek at wedding stage 2
Swordfighting tournament (Svatya)

Speak to Gnarly and learn that your next opponent is the bailiff's son. Locate Svatya in the inner courtyard and defeat him in the ring. Come back during the next phase.

Romance Doubravka

If you've danced with Doubravka in the previous phase, you can now go talk to her. She is very willing and will offer some alone time. She is so eager that you actually need a Speech check to get out of the situation; Henry will make up an embarrassing story. Or, you can romance her, but you will then lose your reputation and she will not be satisfied. Accepting still grants the Time Well Spent buff. Even though there is a black screen, this does not progress the wedding.

Mandatory activity: Help Semine with the beggars

You can also choose to help with the Moravians to progress this stage.

Speak to Semine about the beggars and then Tuma, but do not suggest giving them money, as you will lose reputation. You need to provide 40 pieces of food or a special item called Cooking Scraps. You have many ways to handle this:

  • RECOMMENDED Steal from the kitchen: If you've danced with Myshka in Wedding Stage 1, she can distract the cook (her mother), allowing you to steal Cooking Scraps from the pantry (sack on the left behind the door).
  • Force: Sneak behind Dorothy and knock her out and take what you need from the pantry.
  • Scavenge: Collect food directly from the wedding tables (kolaches are best). Drinks do not count.
  • Donate: You can bring your own 40 pieces of food to the wedding and simply give them away.

Give the 40 food or Cooking Scraps to Tuma to advance to the next phase.

Wedding Stage 3: More drinks for the Moravians

Several NPCs will now react to how you've solved the beggar issue: Report to Myshka (if you've used her in the kitchen) or Jan Semine later, to gain some reputation. If you didn't anger Dorothy, you'll gain some more. Do not report to Gnarly, whatever you did, it will lose your reputation.

Sir Jan Semine also needs help with the Moravians from Side questThe Jaunt quest. You can also choose to help with the beggars to progress this stage.

All Optional activities during Wedding Stage 3:

Swordfighting tournament (Sir Semine)

Speak to Gnarly and learn that your next opponent is Sir Jan Semine. Locate him in the inner courtyard and defeat him in the duel. After defeating him, the tournament ends and Gnarly will reward you with Lord Semine's necklace.

Sir Jan Semine duel finale
Vostatek (Stage 3)

Catch Vostatek hiding in the corner behind the dice area and stop him from drinking, or let it slide.

Vostatek stage 3

Mandatory activity: Jurko and the Moravians

Jurko and his group want “the good stuff” from the cellar. The cellar is guarded. You can use a Speech check to convince the guard to leave or bring him enough beer until he needs to take a break.

Jurko and Moravians

Steal the Blacksmith's Kit and Armorer's Kit from the table near the guard. The Moravian Schnapps is in the corner behind the door he was guarding.

Cellar guard at Semine wedding

Grab the Moravian Schnapps from the cellar and return it to Jurko. Jan Semine won't be happy about you fueling his relatives' drinking, but if you explain it was for the best, you won't lose reputation. Captain Gnarly will get angry at you for helping Moravians, so don't mention it to him.

This progresses the wedding to Stage 4.

Wedding Stage 4: Help Radovan or Ulrich

Jurko will now be available for betting. NPCs will now react to the Moravians and a large group of people will concentrate around their table. Avoid mentioning any of this to Captain Gnarly to avoid a steep reputation loss.

The story branches here based on your companion. Depending on who you've come with, Radovan or Ulrich will approach you asking for help. But first, focus on the optional objectives.

Optional activities during Wedding Stage 4:

Vostatek Final Step (Stage 4)

You can find Vostatek's wife Zlata wandering around and if you let Vostatek drink even once, you will immediately lose reputation. Then, go find him again.

  • If you let him drink: Find Vostatek lying near a wall in the corner, near the water where Myshka took you earlier.
  • He will mention he needs sobering up. You can go snitch on him to Zlata immediately or help him.
  • Go to the inner courtyard and locate the broth on a small table. Bring it back to Vostatek and he will walk it off.

Mandatory activity: Find the sword or Enneleyn

Radovan's route (finding the sword)

Radovan realizes the wedding gift, a masterwork sword, is missing. The only clue is that the suspicious person is wearing yellow clothes.

Radovan at wedding sword mystery

First, Scribe Gaibl becomes available, and he will immediately admit to thievery and give you a Tin badge and 45-48 Groschen. But he doesn't have the sword.

Next, go to the barn loft to find Hans Capon and Enneleyn. A drunk Vuytek will interrupt; handle him however you like. Hans reveals that Svatya took the sword. Go pick it up from the pond and return it to Radovan.

Kreyzl's route (finding Enneleyn)

Ulrich asks you to find the missing Enneleyn (Kvyeta). Follow the same path to the barn loft to find her with Hans. Enneleyn refuses to return to the Chamberlain due to his perversions.

Vuytek will appear in this scenario too and you can use Dialogue skill checks to send him away. Enneleyn then gives you Chamberlain's ring to return to him as a message. Finish this by returning to Ulrich and ideally pass a Charisma skill check, and you'll be able to continue the Side questOpus Magnum side quest after Wedding Crashers concludes.

Hans and Enneleyn in barn loft

In both scenarios, you can now finally talk to Hans and he will share more information about how he spent his past days after splitting apart. In both scenarios, you can also press Scribe Gaibl to get free loot like 45-48 Groschen, Tin Defence badge and Courtiers Boots.

Scribe Gaibl at the wedding

After you finish either Radovan's or Ulrich's task, a cutscene will end the wedding stages and progress the quest to the ceremony.

Finale

A cutscene plays where the ceremony proceeds. Otto Bergow never arrives. Henry is very disappointed and, looking at Trosky Castle, notes that he is back at the beginning.

Wedding finale cutscene

Play the last stretch of this quest - go down from the ramparts and find the newlyweds. Afterward, Henry finds the bride, Agnes, crying in the cellar because the groom, Olda, vanished with a mysterious messenger immediately after the vows.

Agnes in the cellar

Vuytek enters, mistakenly assumes you are making a move on Agnes, and starts a brawl. A massive fight breaks out among the guests - just defend yourself for a while - and the scene will be interrupted by Ulrich with guards. Henry is eventually hauled off to jail. The quest concludes with a brief interlude showing Father Godwin, Hanush of Leipa and Radzig Kobyla. The lords ask Godwin to set off for Trosky to search for Hans and Henry.

Godwin and lords interlude

The story then switches back to Henry and the Wedding Crashers quest is finished, followed by For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Congratulations on completing this quest - we hope you found this guide useful. See more of our Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 guides here.

Wedding Crashers FAQ

What is Wedding Crashers in KCD2?

Wedding Crashers is the fourth main quest in Trosky, started after Laboratores. It covers getting invited to Semine wedding via Radovan or Kreyzl, then attending the wedding and its many optional activities before the story continues with For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Can I do both Radovan and Kreyzl before the wedding?

Yes, until you choose who to attend with. You are only locked to one route when you actually go to the wedding; the choice is made during their third quests in line (Side questThe Hermit vs Side questOpus Magnum).

Do I need two playthroughs of the wedding to see everything?

To see all wedding content, save before the ceremony and plan one run with Radovan and one with Kreyzl; some objectives and dialogue differ by companion.

Is the wedding timed?

No. You confirm when to start the ceremony; use that time to finish Radovan/Kreyzl lines and Trosky content first if you want.

Which route is better for loot?

Both have unique scenes; Radovan's is more combat- and blacksmith-focused, Kreyzl's feeds Opus Magnum. Plan two saves if you want every badge and branch.

What carries over after the wedding?

Your companion choice locks some dialogue; Opus Magnum continues past the wedding on Kreyzl's path. The story then moves to the castle prison in For Whom the Bell Tolls.
