In Verso's Drafts DLC for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, various new merchants now sell new haircuts and outfits for Gustave, like the Gustave Chic or Gustave Bun Braid or other sets. However, obtaining these items requires careful planning, as they cannot be obtained in Verso's Drafts area itself.

Important: These items are only available during Act I, before Gustave becomes inaccessible. Therefore, this is only possible on a fresh save with DLC installed or on a New Game+.

Why Gustave Items Are Missing from Verso's Drafts

While the last merchant in Root of All Evil sells Osquio Outfits for Lune, Maelle, Monoco, Sciel and Verso, the Outfits and Haircuts for Gustave are missing from the DLC area.

In Act 3, when Verso's Drafts are accessible, Gustave isn't available and therefore it doesn't make sense to include his items in the area. They are instead sold by 2 merchants on The Continent, when Gustave is still ready.

Getting these items is only possible during Act I, therefore they are not considered needed for 100% Completion of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. If you've just finished Verso's Drafts and are looking for these items, you can find the merchants but won't be able to actually buy them - the text "Find a missing expeditioner to unlock this item in shop." appears instead with question marks displayed instead of the item price.

Where to Buy New DLC Haircuts and Outfits for Gustave

New Gustave Haircuts and Outfits are sold by 2 merchants, located in The Continent. They are confirmed to cost between 500 and 2000 Chroma.

First Merchant

Find the first merchant on the beach, north of Gestral Village, near Yellow Harvest.

It is the same merchant that sells Charming or Curly Haircuts.

This merchant is confirmed to sell Gustave Bun Braid Haircut and other items.

Second Merchant

Find the second merchant on a beach east of Gestral Village, just near Esquie's Nest.

It is the same merchant that sells Short Hair Haircut or Lumiere Suit Outfit.

This merchant is confirmed to sell most of Gustave's new wardrobe options - Chic Outfit for 2000 Chroma, Chic Hair for 1000 Chroma, Esquie Haircut for 500 Chroma and other items.

Remember: These Gustave items are cosmetic additions and are not required for 100% completion of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. If you've already completed Act I and moved on to Verso's Drafts, you'll need to start a new playthrough or use a save file from Act I to obtain these items.
