Subnautica 2: All Minerals Checklist

Minerals Overview

The checklist is located below this introductory text.

This checklist tracks raw mineable minerals in Subnautica 2. Organic Resources and many other crafting ingredients that are not mined from outcrops are listed under Materials & Resources.

Key Information

Minerals spawn as outcrops across every biome in the game. There are 14 different minerals in Subnautica 2.

Mineral outcrops vary by size. Smaller ones can be picked up instantly; medium ones must be broken; large ones require a Sonic Resonator or a Feedback Resonator. The larger the outcrop, the more minerals it yields.

Most minerals can be found in more than one biome. Titanium, Copper, Quartz, Sulfur, Silver, Lead, and Salt appear in the majority of biomes.

The rarest mineral is Troilite.

Rare minerals DO NOT respawn in Subnautica 2. This is especially important with rare materials like Troilite. Before spending all available minerals on crafting, you should keep at least one piece of each, so you can generate more later.

Material Farming: You can create a sustainable source for any Mineral with the Metal Farm building. You need to insert 1 mineral inside and the farm will produce more. The blueprints for the Metal Farm are located in the Metal Farms biome (450 m depth).

All minerals can be processed into ingots in the Processor.
