Striped Tonies is a side quest in 
Kuttenberg, the second quest in the Striped Tonies questline. Finish Yackers'n'Fash first (Yackers 'n' Fash guide).
In the evening, visit the Black Horse Tavern and speak with Franzi or Foreman Vlach. You can usually start right after Yackers'n'Fash completes.
Striped Tonies is highly time sensitive. After you accept, the miners expect you the next morning. If you skip the meet, the quest fails permanently.
Starting the procession
The next morning go to Hoprink Church in southeast Kuttenberg. Arrive before 12:00; Anton and Franzi often show around 7:00 or 8:00 AM.
They plan a route of churches to consecrate the ceremonial standard before a shooting competition. Follow them and answer dialogue however you like.
At the first chapel the priest is missing. The pair would rather prank the Saints. Speak to Anton and choose revenge on Preng to advance.
Hanging the braies
You must embarrass the rival miners by hanging dirty braies on All Saints Tavern. It sits across the street to the west. It is the same building you visited for 
The German's Treasure (German's Treasure guide). This time the Kuttenberg Underground is a poor choice: exits still land on the main floor while the hang point is higher up.
Upper floors count as private. If guards or patrons spot you, the quest fails immediately. If you leave the tavern area too far, Henry warns you, then the objective auto-fails (you promised to help).

Enter the tavern and take the large stairs to the second floor. Heavy noisy armor can alert a townsmaid who shoos you off the stairs. Wait until the lower hall is clear, then sneak up.
At the top, turn left 180° and use the door into the small corner room with a stove. If a woman is cooking you can knock her out and move on. Continue left through the room to the ladder and climb.
At the open front window, interact to hang the braies. That unlocks the Under a Brown Flag achievement.
Exit carefully and rejoin Franzi and Anton outside. A clean escape is the opposite window onto scaffolding (no fall damage if you drop carefully).
The ambush
On the way to another stop at the Black Horse Tavern, Preng and the All Saints jump you. Focus Preng in the brawl and keep Anton and Franzi safe until the rivals drop.
Fetch roses and perfume
At the tavern Anton forgot Tess's birthday. He needs two gifts while he guards the standard with Franzi.
Roses in Garden of Eden
Roses sit in a locked garden on the east side of Kuttenberg, across from the fisherman, at the 
Garden of Eden interesting site. The fastest entry is picking the Hard door when nobody watches.
A dog and a sleeping gardener patrol inside. Stay crouched. Roses sit near the gardener in the center. Leave the same way or use barrels by the cobblestone wall.
Perfume (optional)
Find Else in the back of the Cobbler shop in central Kuttenberg (map marker). Walk to her small workshop.
Pass a check: Alchemy 16, or open dialogue for Persuasion / Compassion. Any success gives the bottle. You do not return it to her.
If you take too long, Franzi may walk toward the last church; check the map. Both gifts earn 175 Groschen from Franzi.
Carry Anton
Anton is too drunk to walk. Carry him to St. George's Church outside Kuttenberg. Franzi explains the Saints feud and mentions Brabant (a later main story name).
The priest refuses to swear in Anton. You must recite the oath in his place. Anton whispers; picks are timed. Choose the formal line every time:
- “We swear before God, that we will open the shafts without malice and mine the vein honestly according to the law of God.” (option 2)
- “We vow to work hard, listen to the foreman and duly hand over the ore.” (option 2)
- “We swear to not mine silver on the feast day and give a few groschen to the church.” (option 3)
Striped Tonies rewards and next steps
Correct lines earn the blessing, complete the quest, and pay 250 Groschen, a map of the Kuttenberg underground, plus Scholarship and Craftsmanship experience.
Finishing immediately begins Popinjay Shoot. Talk to Foreman Vlach the next morning.

What if I miss the morning meet?
The quest fails permanently. After accepting, meet Anton and Franzi the next day at Hoprink Church before noon.
Should I use the underground route?
No. You need the upstairs window. Sneak the interior stairs and ladder during the day instead.
What instantly fails the underwear objective?
Getting caught in private upper rooms, or straying too far from All Saints after Henry's warning.
Is Else's perfume mandatory?
No. Roses alone satisfy the gift run. Perfume is optional extra for checks and Franzi's bonus if you bring both.
What are the correct oath picks?
Option 2 for the first two prompts, option 3 for the third, matching Anton's formal whisper lines.
What unlocks after the quest?
You keep 250 Groschen and the underground map. Popinjay Shoot auto-starts; see Vlach in the morning.
