Jester's Visit is a surprise free update to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 that dropped in late June 2026 as a celebration for the game hitting 6 million sold copies.
The update is fairly small and adds only one optional encounter with jester Jimbo, which is a reference to the popular deck-builder rogue-like video game Balatro.
Contrary to what most online sources say, this update does not add any new side quests or tasks; only an unmarked encounter.
Make your way in front of the Hangman's Halter tavern in 
Kuttenberg and find the jester Jimbo, who is an avid spreader of joy and seeks to introduce Bohemia to the game of poker, or like he calls it, poque.
Jimbo's Location
You can learn more about him with other dialogue options, then he will reward you with Balatro's die.
Play a game of dice with him (1500 points needed to win) and he will reward you with Tin Balatro's Badge. Jimbo will mention that he will soon return.
How Jimbo looks:
Getting him to return is not easy. Jimbo appears after 7 days and the trigger is very finicky. If he doesn't appear, try travelling to a different Kuttenberg fast travel point and then walking or riding back to the town square.
After he returns, you can play farkle with him again, but this time with no additional rewards.
Balatro's Die Effect
This die has a unique effect that is similar to the Devil's Head effect from Kingdom Come: Deliverance. If the die lands on the joker's grinning face, you can choose how to count it; it can fit into a straight or a triple. Picking it alone will count as if you threw 1.
Tin Balatro's Badge
On a die with the symbol of a joke or devil's head, you can change the result to the given symbol. Can be used once per game.
Jimbo's Equipment
Jimbo also has his own equipment: Jimbo's coat and Jimbo's marotte, which is a Heavy Blunt / Mace with terrible stats.
Collaboration with Balatro
Balatro is known for its cosmetic collaborations with other game titles. Poker cards King, Queen and Jacks in the game can be swapped out for different free skins, featuring characters from games like Don't Starve, Among Us and others.
However at this time, no Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 skins were added yet and the last update to the game happened on February 24, 2025.
