The
Invaders side quest can be started at
Troskowitz tavern. In the evening, talk to the group of Cumans at one of the tables. During the day, speak to Innkeeper Betty, then talk to Vuytek as he roams Troskowitz.
For the best branch of this quest you need at least 18 Charisma or 17 Speech. We recommend
Mintha perfume plus passives such as Flower Power or Local Hero. Expect several Drinking skill checks.
Search for the Cuman camp
Vuytek makes it clear that he and the Cumans fought at the tavern and he wants someone to drive them out. The quest finishes when you ensure the Cumans will not return.
First, find their camp. Vuytek sends you to
Semine for clues. Each clue shrinks the possible area on the map.
Their camp sits near
Nomads' Camp, by the pond. You can ride there immediately instead of questioning half the region. The screenshot below shows the final spot.
If you follow the Semine clue route, young Olda of Semine and Captain Gnarly give the next lead directly, while Bohush's mother in the village or the citadel guard only mention
Rocktower Pond and send you elsewhere.
They point you toward Bozhena or Herdsboy Natan. Skip Bozhena's Hut (out of the way) and go straight to Natan, slightly northwest of Semine village. He gives the final location and a precise map marker. Ride to Nomads' Camp and enter the Cuman camp. If you still need a horse, Pebbles is sold at Semine for about 60-160 Groschen.
Cuman camp
From the Nomads' Camp waypoint, follow the road deeper into the camp, then turn left onto a hidden grassy track. Descend through the stone crevice to reach the encampment with several tents. Talk to Vasko.
Vasko questions why Henry would help Troskowitz after they treated him poorly. Henry can say the Cumans were behind his parents' death in Skalitz. Vasko offers sympathy and a drink in their memory.
We recommend drinking with him right away. You can immediately pass a Drinking 9 dialogue check to earn reputation with solid beer knowledge.
Vasko shares his history and explains that his companion Jasak likes one of the women at Nomads' Camp. Henry can wingman Jasak in front of the bathmaid. Head back toward the camp (there is Hungarian dialogue on the way).
Bathmaid Dialogue Checks
The bathmaid accuses Henry and Jasak of being drunk. Evade it with another Drinking 9 check.
Then sweet-talk her into a date with Jasak. Expect three hard dialogue choices, each with steep Charisma or Speech requirements.
If you pass all three, she agrees - but a rowdy nomad interrupts, claiming Henry is hitting on "his girl". The easiest out is the Speech option "It was nothing." If you cleared earlier checks, you should pass and he walks off.
This still counts as success: Jasak and the bathmaid start chatting and become uninteractive.
If you fail the first Drinking check or any of her three prompts, the quest shifts to Henry translating for Jasak and you take a reputation loss.
More drinking at the camp
You can pass two more Drinking 9 checks, or try Speech 16 for a small beer on the second round. Even after two successes you can still fail the third drink and lose reputation with the Cumans.
Vasko tells more about Skalitz. Affirm that his lord's death was not your fault to gain standing with him.
Time skips to night. You need more alcohol. Stand up and follow Jasak toward Nomads' Camp, then southwest, before he sprints too far ahead. Navigating drunk without him is painful. Sing along when prompted - it grants extra reputation.
Jasak eventually passes out. Henry is so drunk an illusion of a strange dog appears with life advice.
Follow the marker without falling, find the large stones, and loot Odd Moonshine plus 25 Groschen on the ground. Jasak walks back alone - you cannot carry him. Return to the Cuman camp with the moonshine.
Back at the fire, Vasko mocks Henry's tolerance, but you can flex other skills - each line is its own check (see screenshots). After one failure or a second brag, stop picking new skills to avoid more reputation loss. The scene turns into a friendly swimming race toward the pond.
Swimming in the pond
In the water Henry sobers enough to realize he fears swimming. Trying to walk ashore makes him fall in immediately.
A long branch of dialogue opens. You can ask Vasko about attacking Skalitz at the start of Kingdom Come: Deliverance I. Asking about Hungary and Sigismund can stack several reputation gains; he may mention a bandit camp called Cuman Troop.
If you say you should stop drinking, you can still attempt another Drinking check for "one more beer" - failure makes Henry vomit and lose reputation, though a cleanup check can refund some goodwill.
Redirect to the real objective: convince the Cumans not to return to Troskowitz. The talk switches to Hungarian and the task completes.
Invaders rewards
Wake in the morning (miraculously hangover-free), dress, then report to Vuytek in Troskowitz.
Pass Charisma or Speech and he pays 25 Groschen.
Invaders Quest FAQ
Where do I start the Invaders quest?
At Troskowitz tavern in the evening, talk to the Cumans at a table. During the day, speak to Innkeeper Betty, then find Vuytek roaming Troskowitz.
What stats do I need for the best Invaders ending?
Aim for at least 18 Charisma or 17 Speech for the bathmaid dialogue. Brew or buy Mintha Perfume (see the potions checklist) plus passives like Flower Power or Local Hero. Expect several Drinking skill checks.
Where is the Cuman camp?
Near Nomads' Camp by the pond. You can go there directly instead of chaining clues from Semine. Herdsboy Natan northwest of Semine village gives the precise map pin if you follow the clue route.
What if I fail the bathmaid dialogue?
You fall back to translating for Jasak with worse reputation. Reload or stack Charisma and Speech buffs before her three questions.
How do I calm the jealous nomad after the bathmaid agrees?
Use the Speech line "It was nothing." If you passed the earlier checks, you should succeed and he leaves.
What is the Invaders quest reward?
Report to Vuytek in Troskowitz. Pass Charisma or Speech and he pays 25 Groschen.
