Expedition 33: All 49 Expedition Journals Checklist

Track and collect every Expedition Journal for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to complete the Follow the Trail achievement and reach 100% completion. This Expedition Journals walkthrough shows where to find every Journal location.

There are a total of 49 Expedition Journals.

All Expedition Journals are necessary for 100% completion and all achievements. This guide covers every Expedition Journal location including missable ones. While most Journals can be collected at any time, the "Survivor" Journal requires planning in the Prologue. You need to obtain the Old Key during the Expedition Festival in the Prologue to access it later in Old Lumiere.

To get the Old Key: After the Gommage, while Gustave is mourning during the Expedition Festival, use a Festival Token and buy the Old Key from the merchant in blue dress, in the right-most stall. Later in Old Lumiere, use it to access the Survivor Journal in a metal pipe. It is impossible to get the Old Key once you set sails for the Continent.
